I know we haven’t done it in a couple of months, but in actual fact I have been stockpiling links for you anyway, as though it had been the plan to do it all along. To be honest life has just simply been just enough madhouse lately that on the last of each month when the task would come up to pull this post together, I said “nah”.
So here’s an internet highlight reel for basically the run of 2026 up to this point!
- Castpixel Introduces a 3D-Printer Solution to Home PCB Fab - if I had such a printer I would seriously consider this for prototyping and one-offs.
- Marshdeer’s XKCD 2501 Generator - For your friends who know too much.
- Someone is compiling a list of No-AI software
- Good News: Shingles Vaccination May Reduce Dementia Risk
- Important News Regarding Privacy in the Surveillance Age:
- Some posts from Soatok:
- Some self-hosting news:
- Some Gaming Stuff:
- Christer Enfors of TTRPG Hangout explains his emacs extension for Solo RPGs - May be of some use to Game for Scribes fans!

These monthly aggregations are also a great time to talk about reading. So far this year I’ve read Cascade by Rachel Rosen and of course Persepolis Rising from J.S.A. Corey, as well as finally finishing my analysis on The Forge and the Crucible.
